Fever Aches
Ambient Fingers Vol. 6
This year consists of RANDEL .the ghost. with his warped and broken textures that make it seem that you're listening through some magical tape machine. Alongside Fever Aches. Having the whole record being composed of acoustic guitar this made sense to me. This is what it sounds like if you blend the simple acoustic guitar melodies from Fever Aches and the haunted dissonance of RANDEL .the ghost. you get this cacophonous cloud of sound. Themed and inspired by folklore, witchcraft and general spirituality.

Fever Aches - Say Goodnight [single]
Atmospheric christmas lofi tune from Fever Aches. Following up last years release "Warm for the Holidays" - "Say Goodnight" has a much more laid back vibe to it. With big wall of sound pads and filters like a cold breeze just outside the warm beat and bass guitar. Too cold for the acoustic this time. Soft piano dances with gentle percussion and beat that eventually grows with some delay guitar accompaniment.

Fever Aches - Finding Dreamland [single]
Continues the vibe of this project with the use of acoustic and electric guitar. Plenty of background ear candy percussion and some fun synths. Smooth and simple beat, for study / sleep / chill.

Fever Aches; itsokaylove - Warm for the Holidays [single]
A lovely little collaboration between myself and itsokaylove. Who provided some lovely piano samples that the whole song was based on. After adding a few wintery elements like high pitched reverbs and sleigh bells it was the perfect tune to release for the holidays and winter season. Hope you enjoy the sleepy and moody collab ~ Check out the visualizer here.

Oobiesu w/Kiko Kaid
Released as a single then a 3 track EP on streaming services. These songs were originally pretty basic Kiko Kaid tunes before Fever Aches stepped in. Using the signature Fever Aches distortion vocals and acoustic guitar for background textures. Random quirky percussion and other melodic elements softly flourishing out here and there. Overall a dreamy, simplistic and low energy lofi EP.

Thirst EP
The third EP from Fever Aches. Truly honing in the style that is Fever Aches with the looping twinkly emo guitar riffs, crunchy/slappy lofi drums, and of course that amp/echo effect on the vocals. This time using pitching and other manipulation techniques to create some of the voices in this. This is definitely the direction future releases from Fever Aches will go. Biggest thing is making this different from Kiko Kaid. Hope you enjoy and get lost in it like I do. Check out the video ~

Forgetting You w/Imisu [single]
A reverse piano ballad improvised within 30 minutes at the WRTI 90.1FM Performance Studio on their Steinway Grand Piano. Recorded mono. I played and sang with the intention of reversing myself so there were some experimental nuances I was trying out. I layered several extra low harmonies also quickly recorded and improvised right on the spot. Added several layers of delay and reverb as well as made duplicates of several tracks pitching them up and down to give this certain effect. As well as the signature Fever Aches amp effect on the vocals.

II
All songs made within a few hours. A simple continuation of the first Fever Aches EP. Using a friends AKAI sampler I threw in several guitar loops and only 4 percussion / drum loops for the whole beattape. Just a short and sweet little beattape to groove to.
